The street lessons
I left home like a strayed puppy, clutching my tendril tail in between my legs.
Running away from other wild stray dogs.
Street became my home,
I grew up on the street,
Street fed me and made me.
I peddle drugs,
I run tough errands
FOR streets lords,
I was street hermes
erranding both worlds,
I was faithful,furious
and fistful for all errands.
Cold at night,heat at noon,
Humming insects at nights and night wild dogs are merciless.I know them, they know me,i'm street diplomat-the untouchable stray puppy.
Life on the street is bitter-butter,dogs eating dogs, the fast must be furious, the strong must be skillful, the smart must be streetwise.
The street is brutal and life was shorter, even terrible for stray puppies, but my dreams,my songs,my poems kept me alive, kept me moving.
The street taught me:
If you want food, you must work,if you want freedom, prepare for prison or box.
If you want good, prepare for evil, you want gold, get a digger,if you call the rain,be ready for flood,
If you want lightening prepare for thunder.
The street is brutal and life was shorter, even terrible for stray puppies, but my dreams,my songs,my poems kept me alive, kept me moving.
My Dreams, poems and song kept the little Hermes
Fistful, furious and fast. They kept me away from terrible friendly corrupt puppies.they kept away from troubles and death.
