started

came

a

place

where

dreams

were

hard

to

chase,

Smiles

on

my

face,

but

pain

behind

my

face.

I

learned

to

stand

when

nobody

was

there,

I

cried

in

silence,

but

I

still

said

a

prayer.

Some

nights

I

asked, “

When

will

my

time

come?”

Looking

at

tomorrow,

but

my

pocket

had

nothing.

People

saw

the

struggle,

some

people

walked

away,

But

I

kept

moving

forward,

praying

for

better

days.

I

lost

some

people

I

thought

would

stay

forever,

Life

taught

me

lessons

I

could

never

learn

from

books.

Every

disappointment

put

fire

in

my

heart,

Every

broken

moment

gave

me

another

start.

And

if

you

see

me

smiling

today,

Don't

think

the

journey

was

easy.

There

were

nights

I

almost

gave

up,

But

something

inside

kept

telling

the

I

I

looked

refused

I

know

I

Sometimes

I

trusted

that

never

really

cared.

I

gave

my

love,

I

my

time,

Only

to

discover

some

people

were

never

mine.

But

scar

a

part

my

lesson

hate

anybody

They
