Can
heal
a
broken
heart,
Or
leave
a
wound
that
never
disappears…
The
tongue
is
small…
But
its
responsibility
is
great…
The
sound
from
your
lips
becomes
a
word,
And
every
word
can
build
or
destroy.
Some
words
bring
comfort
to
the
heart,
Some
words
bring
sorrow
without
joy.
You
hold
the
choice
upon
your
tongue,
To
bring
somebody
peace
or
pain.
Will
you
speak
words
of
mercy,
Or
words
that
leave
a
heart
in
chains?
Allah
gave
us
the
gift
of
speech,
So
let
our
speech
be
pure
and
true.
For
every
word
that
leaves
our
lips,
Allah
knows
what
we
say
and
do.
Watch
your
words…
watch
your
tongue,
Every
word
will
be
written
down.
Watch
your
words…
watch
your
tongue,
They
can
lift
a
soul
or
bring
it
down.
Speak
the
truth,
speak
with
love,
Let
your
words
reflect
Allah's
light.
If
you
cannot
speak
what
brings
goodness,
Then
silence
may
be
what
is
right.

Our
words
are
a
trust
from
Allah.
Allah
created
the
night
and
day,
And
by
His
command
the
heavens
stand.
He
created
us
from
nothing,
And
placed
our
destiny
in
His
hands.
He
gave
us
strength,
He
gave
us
speech,
He
gave
us
knowledge,
He
gave
us
life.
So
why
would
we
use
His
blessings
To
cause
our
neighbour
grief
and
strife?
Your
word
may
be
true,
Your
word
may
be
false.
But
Allah's
word
is
always
true.
So
before
you
speak
about
what
happened,
Ask
yourself: “
Is
this
really
true?”

watch
your
tongue,
Every
word
will
be
written
down.
Watch

your

They
can
lift
a

caused

happen?
Fear
Allah
with

tongue…
Because
the
tongue
speaks,
But
the
heart
reveals…
And
every
word
has
an
account.
Your
words
are
a
mirror
of
who
you
are,
Your
words
are
a
mirror
of
who
you
are,
What
reflection
are
you
giving
the
world?
Do
your
words
reflect
dishonesty?
Do
they
reflect
corruption?
Do
they
reflect
hatred?
Do
they
reflect
deceit?
Or
do
they
reflect
mercy?
Do
they
reflect
honesty?
Do
they
reflect
love?
If
your
words
bring
comfort,
People
will
remember
you
with
peace.
If
your
words
are
honest,
People
will
know
you
as
truthful.
If
your
words
are
loving,
People
will
feel
safe
around
you.
But
if
your
words
are
ugly,
The
world
will
see
the
ugliness
you
choose
to
show.
Watch
your
words…
watch
your
tongue,
Every
word
will
be
written
down.
Watch

They
can
lift
a

it

Choose

path,
Choose
the
mercy
that
Allah
loves.
Speak

truth,

amanah.

bring
people
together…
Use
it
for
truth.
Use
it
for
love.
Use
it
for
peace.
Because
one
day…
You
will
stand
before
Allah…
And
every
single
word
You
uttered…
Will
speak
about
you.
Choose
your
words.
Choose
truth.
Choose
mercy.
Choose
love.
And
let
your
words
Be
a
reflection
of
what
Allah
desires
On
this
earth.
Allāhumma
ihdinā
li-aḥsanil-kalām…
O
Allah,
guide
us
to
the
best
of
speech.
