Faith That Can Win Any Battle

Introduction
Every believer faces battles—spiritual battles, financial battles, family problems, sickness, and opposition. God has given us a weapon that can overcome every battle: faith. Faith does not deny the existence of problems; it believes that God is greater than the problems.
What Is Faith?
Faith is trusting God completely, even when you cannot see the answer.
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." (Hebrews 11:1)
Faith says:
I may be surrounded, but God will deliver me.
I may be weak, but God is my strength.
I may not see the way, but God will make a way.
Characteristics of Faith That Wins Battles
1. Faith Believes God's Word
Abraham believed God's promise despite his old age (Romans 4:20-21).
Lesson: Victory begins when you believe what God has said.
2. Faith Refuses Fear
David defeated Goliath because he trusted God instead of fearing the giant (1 Samuel 17:45-47).
Lesson: Faith sees God's greatness, not the size of the problem.

Daniel continued praying even when he faced the lions' den (Daniel 6).

4. Faith Speaks Victory
Jesus said, "If you have faith... nothing will be impossible for you" (Matthew 17:20).
Faith declares:
I am more than a conqueror.

God is fighting for me.

Moses stretched out his rod, and the sea parted.
Joshua marched around Jericho, and the walls fell.
David defeated Goliath.
Paul the Apostle endured persecution and finished his race victoriously.
How to Build Faith That Wins Battles
Hear and study God's Word (Romans 10:17).
Pray continually.
Remember God's past victories.
Surround yourself with believers who encourage your faith.
Obey God even when it is difficult.
