Five years ago, I lost everything
But God had a plan
I gave everything I had, sold the houses and the cars
Every piece of land I owned, reaching out to touch the stars
Trying to save her precious life, my beautiful wife
But cancer took her from my arms, left me broken in the night
I fell down on my knees, pouring anger out to God
Asking why You took her Lord, when I gave You all I got
Then I heard You whisper soft, through my tears and through my pain
"It will all make sense, my child, I will heal you once again"

Three long years of emptiness, walking through the valley low
But You were working while I wept, preparing seeds You'd sow
You gave me love a second time, brought joy back to my soul
Restored my wealth and health again, Jesus You made me whole
Now I'm standing in Your grace, remarried and alive
You turned my mourning into dancing, Lord You helped me thrive
Now I see You were faithful, through my tears and through my pain
It all makes sense now, Father, how You healed me once again
