[male vocals] BEFORE
THE
WORLD
BELIEVED
Write
a 5–6
minute
Afro-Gospel/
Afro-Soul
masterpiece
based
on
my
true
life
story.
This
is
not
a
generic
love
song.
It
is
a
heartfelt
testimony
from
a
husband
to
his
wife.
Don't
simply
list
events—
tell
our
story
with
beautiful
lyrics,
vivid
imagery,
memorable
choruses,
emotional
storytelling,
and
smooth
transitions.
Keep
God
at
the
center.
The
song
should
make
my
wife
laugh,
cry,
worship,
and
remember
our
journey.
After
our
wedding
we
started
life
in
Nchelenge
District.
We
sold
ice
blocks
and
Freezits.
We
drank
munkoyo,
prayed
together,
laughed
together,
dreamed
together,
and
shared
one
mobile
phone
because
we
could
not
afford
another.
We
faced
poverty,
uncertainty,
and
spiritual
battles,
but
every
challenge
strengthened
our
faith
and
our
marriage.
Joy
had
an
opportunity
to
work
for
the
Zambezi
River
Authority,
but
she
chose
me,
our
marriage,
and
our
dream
instead.
Some
of
her
relatives
questioned
her
decision,
but
she
never
turned
back.
She
believed
in
me
before
the
world
believed
in
me.
She
became
my
wife,
my
best
friend,
my
prayer
partner,
my
business
partner,
the
mother
of
our
children,
and
the
safest
place
my
heart
has
ever
known.
I
still
call
her "
my
second
Holy
Spirit,"
not
because
she
replaces
God,
but
because
God
has
blessed
her
with
remarkable
wisdom
and
discernment.
Many
times
she
guided
me
correctly.
Sometimes
I
ignored
her
advice
and
later
regretted
it.
God
blessed
us
with
our
daughter
Zoe.
To
us,
Zoe
represents
the
beginning
of
our
dream.
Six
months
after
she
was
born,
we
moved
to
Kapiri
Mponshi,
carrying
our
baby,
our
faith,
and
our
vision.
Later
we
started
ZOESON
Money
Lending
with
only
a
bank
loan,
two
employees,
and
complete
faith
in
God.
We
worked,
sacrificed,
prayed,
failed,
learned,
and
kept
moving
forward.
Later
God
blessed
us
with
our
son
Divine.
To
us,
Zoe
represents
the
courage
to
begin,
while
Divine
represents
God's
season
of
increase,
miracles,
favour,
and
expansion.
Looking
at
both
children
reminds
us
that
God
writes
every
chapter
in
His
perfect
time.
Our
marriage
has
never
been
perfect.
We
have
disagreed,
misunderstood
each
other,
and
made
mistakes.
Outsiders
tried
to
break
us
apart,
but
every
time
life
knocked
us
down,
we
chose
each
other
again.
We
chose
prayer,
forgiveness,
trust,
and
love.
God
made
our
marriage
stronger
through
every
storm.
Tell
Joy
that
many
people
celebrate
what
they
see
today,
but
only
she
knows
the
prayers,
tears,
sacrifices,
sleepless
nights,
and
difficult
decisions
behind
our
journey.
Every
blessing
we
enjoy
carries
both
our
fingerprints.
We
built
our
family,
our
dream,
and
our
testimony
together
with
God
leading
every
step. "
Joy,
thank
you
for
choosing
me
when
I
had
nothing.
Thank
you
for
believing
in
me
before
the
world
believed
in
me.
With
all
my
flaws,
weaknesses,
and
imperfections,
you
still
loved
me.
If
tomorrow
we
lost
everything
but
God
left
me
with
you,
Zoe,
Divine,
and
our
faith,
I
would
still
be
the
richest
man
alive.
My
greatest
blessing
was
never
what
we
built—
it
was
the
woman
who
built
it
with
me.
I
love
you
more
today
than
I
did
on
our
wedding
day,
and
for
as
long
as
God
gives
me
breath,
I
will
keep
choosing
you."
Close
the
song
softly
with
a
choir
singing: "
From
Nchelenge
to
Kapiri...
From
one
phone
to
a
legacy...
From
prayers
to
answered
prayers...
From
two
hearts
to
one
family...
God
has
been
faithful...
Our
story
continues."
